Total Car Collections

My experience matches the othee reviews. Exactly the same scenario! This is a shoody, predatory business. They lie to you and put you in a situation where you are forced to accept a ridiculous price for the car they collect. They are just increasinging their profit margin. I wish I hadt been so pushed for time and had checked the reviews. Lesson learned! To those smart people who never forget to check reviews, stay away from those sharks!

Described the car to them on the phone (told them it hadn't be used in year, gave them the make and model etc) and was told I could get $200. When they arrived (3 hours late) the guy said the car was too old to pay me anything (despite the fact that I told him the exact details on the phone) and pretended to call his boss to 'see what he could do'. DO NOT trust these guys and DO NOT organise for them to pick up your car.

Ripoff. Go somewhere else. Told them I needed my car removed for scrap. Told would get $200. When truck arrived (40min late) was told that because car hadn't been driven for two years they could only sell for scrap and could only pay me $100. If I wasn't getting ready for an engagement party I would have told him to go away but needed the car gone that day. From reading reviews after the fact see it is a common occurrence. Cannot recommend at all. Watch out as they appear to trade under different names, avoid anything from 29-31 Elliott Rd, Dandenong
