Lyn's Babysitting & Emergency Mum was created by Lyn Foley with the support of her husband Terry to meet the demand for professional and quality child care services. We provide a casual and part time babysitting service to local residents including Magnetic Island and outlying towns, holiday makers, corporate businesses, weddings, children's birthday parties, before and after school care, school holidays care, over night, evening and day babysitters, 24 hrs 7 days a week. Terry & Lyn are parents working for parents and have been in the child care industry for over 40 years. With this experience they have a good knowledge of what you as a parent expect in a babysitter. Both Terry & Lyn actively participate in the day to day running of the babysitting business, and when you make an inquiry you will find yourself speaking to the very people who own and manage the business.This is why every babysitter is personally interviewed and an intense reference check is carried out. All of our babysitters hold a "Blue Card" as required and provided by the Queensland Government Commission for Children and Young People for persons working in the childcare industry. Approval for a "Blue Card" requires an extensive Police check ensuring that only suitable applicants are accepted. This ensures that only the best qualified persons care for your children and give you peace of mind as the parent. We in turn verify the babysitter has a current card and regularly audit our files to ensure it is still active. We aim to provide busy Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and anyone in need of a babysitter with a convenient, reliable and trustworthy service, helping them make childcare arrangements easy so they can enjoy an active, stress free life knowing their children are in safe and experienced hands.
