Absolutely worse breakfast I've had in years. If you're going to pay money for breaky, spend it somewhere else. The hollondaise sauce was stone cold, they wouldn't allow a change in egg preference on the mini grilled option. The egg whites on one dish were still runny, the piached egg on the smashed avo was hard boiled. The bacon so burnt it crumpled. For two extra slices of toast be prepared to pay 4 dollars. The coffee was disgusting, luke warm and so weak. The orange juice from behind the bar. Don't expect fresh. Total rubbish, do not waste your money.
This is agreat location and recent renovations have resulted in a great venue. It is now the talk of the locals how exasperating it is that the hotel is constantly unorganised. The staff are pleasant and friendly, the menu is great..but.....why should anyone have to wait 3 hours for a meal. On many occassions I, and many of my friends, have waited this long. Often when dining with friends there can be an hour between meals at one table. It is really atrocious. Locals are loosing patience and going elsewhere. I am about to do the same. I have planned on taking 5 friends there for dinner in a few weeks but I think I will probably go elsewhere so that we get some service. I live locally and the hotle has been the talk of the town since its renovation. We used to all go and meet there for drinks and a meal.
Just went to their Christmas lunch. When we arrived, got shown our table and ordered a drink. So far so good. Got up to join the queue for the buffet, food looked quite nice, took ourselves and food back to our table. There was no extra plates or anywhere to put your prawn shells except on the one plate you had. The calamari, octopus was horrible. The prawns were about the only nice item of seafood. Ham was ham and salads were ok. Service was non existent once we had finished what we wanted. Sat there while everyone around was getting clean dishes put on their tables, and the dirty ones taken away. No staff to order anymore drinks, while everyone around us was getting their drinks ordered. Not impressed, no value for money. Waited too long so gave up and left. Never again. Perhaps it is different to go there for a normal meal? I wont be bothering.
