Toxteth Hotel
The Toxteth Hotel, affectionately named the 'Tocky' by its patrons, is a great local pub on the corner of the vibrant Glebe Point Road and Ferry Road. The Tocky has an extensive food menu with enticing daily specials including the popular $10 lunch menu on Monday - Friday.
The Toxteth also boasts three great areas in which to host your next function. The Toxteth offer wide-ranging flexible canapé and set menu options to suit all tastes and budgets. Whether it is a birthday party, product launch or corporate lunch, They tailor each event to suit your needs.
The upstairs Tate gallery is the Toxteth's very own art space that transforms into the perfect place for any function or event. With the capacity to hold 120 people (80 if seated), this exposed brick, warehouse style space offers its own private bar and picturesque views of the city.
The sun drenched Yard Bar is easily the most popular space in the venue. With its mismatched furniture and vibrant island bar it offers a funky, spacious al fresco sanctuary for both open air drinking and dining.
The Fireplace room is super cosy in winter with a roaring fire yet with the sliding windows it becomes open and airy in the warmer months.
It's definitely worth checking out this friendly local watering ...read more

They have $10 lunches through the week.
I got some fish, which came out all fancy like with in house tartare sauce.
It was absolutely divine. I couldn't however finish it so gave the chips and left over fish to one of my colleagues.
They have an outdoor sitting area with some dead looking trees - the outside sitting area is kinda cool. They have fans that blow mist which reminded me of Vegas, except instead of the dry hot air we were sitting in moist Sydney hot air. I think mist fans are a bit redundant in Sydney to be honest. You're just adding more water to the already watery humidity sticky icky feeling.
The joy? I guess it was watching some ladies come in for lunch and sit on the metal seats that had puddles of water from the mist built up on them. The looks on their faces were priceless and made me giggle insanely. I know I know, I'm evil.
$4 for a coke was a bit pricey though.
