Tractorless Vineyard

The Tractorless Vineyard in Mittagong was our last stop on our Southern Highlands wine tour. We went here for a girls weekend escape from Sydney as it is one of the closest wine regions to the big city. The Tractorless vineyard was more than just tasting the wines and champagnes of the region. We were shown how they put the corks into the champagne bottles, we got to swirl around and taste merlot grapes straight from the vat and the gentleman who showed us around was so great. He was enthusiastic and clearly passionate about his fabulous wine. Out of the four of us, not one of us left empty-handed at this stop. The pear ciders were so great we bought a six-pack each and their Moscato is sweet and fresh. The lunch at the cafe here was really great too and they have a beautiful function area where they clearly get a lot of wedding bookings as one was going on whilst we were there. I would re-vist the Tractorless Vineyard in a heartbeat!
