Since this place is a little out of the way you do need to plan your trip here (it is only open on Sunday and Public Holidays) but it is certainly worth it, especially if you have kids. I remember coming here when I was much younger and I had a ball, and I also remember the old trams running along the route between the museum and the playground down in St Kilda. However, when I was back in Adelaide over Christmas I realised that it has been ages since I had been here, so I grabbed my siblings and came down here for the day. I must say it is still as good as I can remember it. While there is a fee, it is very affordable, and it includes unlimited rides on the tram, of which they have four operating at a time.
