Tran's Restaurant

Walking into Tran's is like, walking into old French colonial Saigon. The hospitality is full of heart and warmth, added by Chef Lana's Tasmanian bright sense of humour in an unforgettable experience. The fresh herbs grown in Lana's garden mid winter accompanied all the authentic cuisines from regions through out Vietnam. The grill fish rivals that of the traditional Hanoi's 'Ch c l vng" I'd eaten from my recent trip to Vietnam. My last meal here was with the girls, and we got to try all the dream desserts. My favourite black sticky rice pudding was accompanied by the best Vietnamese coffee(new to the menu) in Sydney. Can't wait for my next visit.

While this restaurant is a bit more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants, you definitely get what you pay for here and the additional cost is well worth the quality and quantity of the food. The service is very friendly and attentive, and if a mistake is made with a meal or drink order, it will be rectified quickly and efficiently. Try the pancakes for an entree and pork belly for a main, they are delicious!

Great service, BYO, and now let's talk about the food - it's the best Vietnamese in Sydney! The starters are to die for, their specials worth choosing - go with a few people and make sure you share as many dishes as possible. Great value too - an entree and a main each is for very hungry people, and the prices are really good for such high quality finger-licking yummy food

Perhaps the best Vietnamese restaurant in Sydney. Most of the people eating in this quiet Mosman restaurant at any one time will be serial repeat customers. I have known people to visit every other week. The food is amazing and the service exceptionally friendly.
