NOT worth 4 stars folks. Our key card did not always function and this is rare to me. There was no cutlery, no saucer or plates. No fan in the bathroom so it steams up very badly. Cheap, I mean really cheap and extra small shampoos etc (compared to other hotels). Food was not the best I have eaten in a hotel and not even average. To be blunt, while I will return to Darwin it will not be here
Very good Hotel. Nice service.
The Hotel is situated in the city center, close to Woolworth.
You will obtain big and comfortable room.
Your room will contain:
- two big beds,
- bathroom,
- quite big wardrobe,
- flat tv screen,
- air condition,
- fridge,
- kettle,
- dryer.
However, there are some disadventages of this Hotel as well:
1) electronic card (key) to Your room sometimes does not work properly,
2) I think the room should have some balcony,
3) I think it would be nice to have cutlery inside the room,
4) I regret there is no free wi - fi,
5) It is a pity that swimming pool area is closed at 23.00, and after 23.00 You have no place to sit and rest outside Your room.
Overall, I recommend that Hotel for You to stay a few days in Darwin.
This is budget accomodation in the centre of town which is good value and has all basic amenities. However, be warned that the rooms are very basic (although some much better than others) and there is no lift. Staff vary a lot according to who's on. Some are truly wonderful!
