Treasury On King William

This is another bar that I have been to a number of times, one of the reasons because my work collegues would come here for after work drinks, and the other reason because they have this really nice courtyard. I even remember going into the old vaults one Friday night, which was really cool (though I'm not sure if they are still open). However I came here again on my recent trip to Adelaide and I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed. First of all it seemed as if you couldn't go down into the vaults, and the other reason is that it is a pretty ordinary bar. Basically it is one of those bars that adjoin a hotel, and even though it is still popular, it isn't the type of place that I would go back to anytime soon (though it probably has a lot to do with my tastes changing somewhat).

I organized a work function to be here at The Treasury. The booking process of the area was well done and the food I had organized was well timed. Everyone including myself enjoyed the canape's I had arranged, especially the pizza's, they were so tasty and fresh!
I was very pleased with the service and thank the staff for their good service and cooperation :)

Sip on your favourite bevvy in the dark front bar or in the delightful courtyard, complete with gushing water fountain and kempt gardens. It's a lovely place to relax with friends.

I was very impressed with our visit to the Treasury at the Medina Grand. Consisting of a main restaurant and also an outdoor area we found eating in the old historic main building to be an excellent venue for special occasions. The staff are very professional and the surroundings elegant. Prices are comparable to the quality of food. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special place to eat or meet with friends.

Great bar and good outside area. Have found the staff a little arrogant on occasion but mostly ok. Courtyard the highlight on a nice day.
