tried the shakshuka eggs with middel eastern spices, pecorino, capsicum, sour cream and za-atar $17 and the hotcakes to finish off $16 - honey,cinamin, ricotta, lemon curd, blueberry, ornage and macadamia crumble which was very tasty and colorful and not overly sweet. smoothies and cold pressed juice sare available. happy hour tues-fri 5-7pm

sweet potato rosti stack with smoked salmon/bacon with a p/egg, horseradish mayo, avacado and rocket $18 we ordered was good. we also shared the summer brushetta (rye with smashed s/potato, fetta, avoacado, c/tomatoes, red cabbage, and balsamic glaze $16 was brightly colored, light and healthy and tasty. good food and service, great coffees

this visit we had the mexicant $17.50, grilled cornbread, s/avo, s/corn, black beans, tomato, r/onion, coriander, chorizo, p/egg and sour cream, delicous, colorful, sizeable and healthy (apart from the processed chorizo) and reasonably priced. highly recommended venue

funky bar/cafe venue in heart of balaclava shopping strip, with treehouse area inside great for kids. lots of funky furniture such as old TV's made into tables, artificial turf and trees inside creating the treehouse theme. staff very friendly. games for kids. prices reasonable. special nights such as pizza nights. 7.30-3.30pm MON, dinner tues-sun and happy hour 5-7pm tues-fri. functions available. easy to park nearby
