Trinity Anglican College
I attended this school hoping for support with my education struggles, but unfortunately, they offered little to no assistance. The lack of help for struggling students was disappointing and made it difficult to succeed academically. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone seeking guidance and support in their educational journey.
School for bullies, run by bullies. Management discovered a social media page run by a student, featuring memes lampooning Trinity and its obsession with appearance and failure to acknowledge its bullying culture. Management took action... not to properly address the bullying problem, noooooo, but to threaten the student with legal action and expulsion, and force them to take down their instagram page. Any wonder the school has such a shocking bullying problem! What a monster's nest. Silencing whistleblowers, censoring Google revievs and ignoring parents, just lovely.
Oh, but they are verrrry good at marketing. Excellent in fact. Good job the Border Mail is always there for them to publicise their dummy bullying policy. It doesn't matter that its never followed because that bit somehow doesn't make it to the Border Fail. Marketing FTW! And if it pops up somewhere else like Google or Instagram for example, well we all know what happens then :(
All that glitters aint gold. On the surface a beautiful campus with impressive programs. This distracts most from the fairly toxic culture of bullying and abuse, with a terrible lack of care for the wellbeing of its students. This school has gotten too big too fast and is being run as a business; a franchise of the Anglican School Commission.
