True Blue Spit Roast Catering

We used True Blue Catering for our sons 21st and I have to say it was less than average. The meats were ok but the rest was awful! Nothing was made from scratch....the salads came in plastic bags which the guy put on the table for all the guests to see and the "BBQ salad" was so soggy and swimming in the dressing/liquid(he didnt even drain it....just poured the whole thing in a bowl). The fried rice, pre-package frozen trays was bland and no flavour(the trays were stacked on top of each other....poor presentation), the vegetarian lasagne, also pre-packaged frozen trays was sloppy and gluggy! They were suppose to serve hot baked veggies but served over cooked frozen mixed veggies instead! Was not happy at all.....for such a big catering company you'd think they would serve fresh food they should have prepared themselves from scratch. Definitely would not use again:(

Had True Blue Spit Roast catering for my dinner party of 40 last night. I took the option with the full catering, including the chef cooking on site and preparing all food ready for my guests. Our chef was Carlos and he was fabulous. He had wait times in between tending to the food and helped up with other small preparations like moving furniture and putting in lights (he was quite tall). Food was organised, on-time, delicious and abundant. The whole process was sooo easy - I was able to enjoy my large dinner party without a worry. I will definitely be using this service again! Maree

I heard many times about the food test of this restaurant which is "True Blue Spit Roast Catering" in Melbourne. Actually when I was coming to my room after office I was too tired then I call to cateringonthemove and order a pizza but on Sunday I think about go this catering service and the food taste of this restaurant was awesome then after this happened every Sunday I go to this restaurant.
