Best place to be on a nice summer evening after work. Frequented by nearby companies (Origin Energy and Telstra), has a nice outdoor beer garden atmosphere and casual friendly environment. Only drawback is no drink specials, but that doesn't stop the crowds from coming!
Trunk is a great chill out place whether it's a morning coffee, lunch or drinks after work.
Popular during the day and night, I've been here for my morning coffee and drinks after work. We ordered coffee from their little shed like store outside. Coffee took a while to be made and when it gets busy, there was no standing space. So we were forced to wait outside for our takeaway coffees.
Food wise, guess this place is ok. A little more than your average pub food but not like your average pub food menu. It's good that they have an outdoor seating and also indoors.
This place definitely gets packed after work despite no happy hour specials. Also a bit hard to find a seat inside on a cold and wet day. I love the atmosphere and love being outdoor with a nice glass of wine after work on a nice day to chill and relax with my colleagues.
We were visiting Melbourne and was told to go to Trunk on Exhibition street. This is an American style caffe With no doubt it was amazing food and service, extremely friendly and very informative for food intolerances (gluten free friendly, the waitress explained the whole menu) we went back 3 times
This place is a regular haunt of mine for after work drinks on a Friday. The vibe is upbeat and there's a good balance of indoor and outdoor areas for all weather types. The burger house next door is famous for its wagsyu beef burger which is super tasty. The portion is on the small side but undeniably super tasty and well worth a try so make sure you get some chips with it. The wait staff are friendly and there is also a large selection of drinks
