Really good re-discovery after moving away from the area for years! Only small, but they seem to do a lot of business in take-away sushi. If you're eating in, the curry and sushi are both tasty options; I had high hopes on the tsukune as well (been a long time since my old favourite japanese restaurant closed!) though sadly it was only average. The gyoza and miso soup were solid also! Reasonable prices and pretty quick service to boot. Would recommend & will be re-visiting.
Best take-away sushi in Brisbane. No sickly-sweet overly-vinegared rice or day-old sushi here - the food is always super-fresh, and there are heaps of options. Tsuru is a lunch-time staple for the team at Niggles & Knots, its an easy stop in the morning to grab a quick cheap and absolutely delicious lunch.
