Tugun Fruit Market

Very disappointed in the recent customer service we experienced. We’ve been to the store a couple of times and have enjoyed how beautiful the store is. Tonight, my husband and I thought to pop by and didn’t notice the closing time. The doors opened, my husband commented on how lovely the store was and we were then approached by a female staff member who told us the store was closed and ‘you need to hurry up’ as she looked at her watch and walked off. As we walked out a little confused about how quickly it all happened, she looked at us again and said ‘it’s closed’ and followed us out. We’ve been locals for over 25 years and never experienced rude service like this. Next time, maybe close the door you don’t wish customers to walk through and see to the customers who are in the store OR on this particular occasion, greet us, inform us the store is closing politely and wish us a good evening. Good food market but I have to score 1 star...Terrible service from the blonde lady (cashier) I m a regular and I have seen her been rude or arrogant to at least 3 costumers. This time I was the one. It's a shame for such a good place. I have to say the staff is very good apart from this lady. Don't know her name. So disappointed.

I have been shopping here for years as the prices of the meat, fruit and veges are quite resonable and are good quality and I'd have to say the staff are usually somewhat friendly but yesterday a female stacking the shelves was very rude to my son. It is a shame as now the experience has left me not wanting to return.

Really large fruit & vegetable store, with a meat section, and a few grocery aisles also. I found the prices to be a bit more on the expensive side. (I hope some of that money goes back to the farmers!) I found staff to be friendly & helpful. There's a car park on the eastern side of the shop & some parking on the Gold Coast Hwy side.

Great fruit market, the BEST quality and good priced meat. Has small goods to purchase too - reasonably priced.
