Initially misdiagnosed and overcharged my issue. 6770 dollars and a month and a week later. They charged me over 900 dollars for 4 x low grade tires that are 134 dollars each. If you’re lucky, they’ll give you an embarrassing temporary car, a rusty AU Falcon with a broken centre console. They should have spent their cash on presentable loan cars instead of an out of place gimmicky hand swipe to open the front office door that confused every single customer that turned up. Take your car anywhere else. This place is an absolute joke. Shameful.
They did work on my v8 Diesle land cruiser and it now is blowing smoke and I was over charged and when I complained I was told what I now no is more lies and charged another 1000 dollars they installed Uni chip and a turbo and my truck is vibrating and blowing smoke and would never recommend you do this
Only ever heard good things about Tunehouse, however after paying for a car check-up (+ a bonus teekay kit check) they miss diagnosed an issue with the engine's cooling system (blown head gasket, leaking under boost).
There quote for the work $5K+ was slightly off the money as the issue had nothing todo with the head gasket (heater-core flow reduced with sediment after a spin off the track) fixed it for $30 and an afternoon of work (flush and 50% bypass).
I paid for the check-up for advice (on something else entirely) and to see if they knew there stuff. But it seems there not that familiar with wrx engines or ... (I did act like I knew nothing about cars so).
If you do give them a go just make sure you manage them or they may run away on you.
