Turkey's Nest Rainforest Cottage, is a fully self-contained two bedroom cottage nestled in 15 acres of tranquil rainforest just 40 minutes drive north-west of Brisbane. It is a perfect retreat from the bustle of city life, close to the city, yet a world away. You will feel yourself relax as you drive through Brisbane Forest Park to the tranquil village of Mount Glorious.Awake to the sound of whip birds and a magnificent view through majestic hoop pines and rose gums to the rainforest below. Relax on the veranda where a wide variety of exotic birds come to feed. Take a walk past groves of palms and lichen-covered rocks, in the seclusion of their own private rainforest, to the magnificent towering fig tree.Situated in the D'Aguilar Range 620 metres above sea level, Mt Glorious offers welcome relief from the summer heat. In winter, as mists waft through the rainforest, warm yourself by the fireplace, with a glass of wine, a good book, and of course their complimentary port and chocolates.Both massages and breakfast baskets are available by arrangement.
