I never actually saw him, but based on how much people raved about him, I was really excited to see him. I couldn't see him until I was 12 weeks pregnant but I was prepared to wait for him. However, long story short, the receptionist completely ruined my appointment, Ross wanted to give me a scan at 5 weeks pregnant but knowing that you see basically nothing at 5 weeks, I called the receptionist and told her I couldn't make that appointment and instead I'd get a scan somewhere else a week later (Ross couldn't scan me then as he's on holidays now for a month). But according to the receptionist, that meant I was cancelling all treatment from Ross and the next available appointment was put back to when I'd be 4 months pregnant.... No thanks. I'm sure Ross is wonderful but be absolutely CRYSTAL CLEAR with the receptionist because she ruined everything. Took no responsibility for her mistake either.
In late 2006 I was suffering extremely bad periods & talked to my GP about it. She suspected Endometriosis and gave me a referral to Dr Turner. I was a little hesitant at seeing a male Doctor, but during my first consulation I realised he was a down to earth guy with a great sense of humour.
In May 2007 I had key hole surgery to remove my Endo & Dr Turner called me the day before to see if I had any questions/concerns about the surgery. The surgery was a success and my husband and I started trying for a baby. I fell pregnant in June.
Our daughter was born in March this year and Dr Turner did an amazing job. I suffered post-natal depression in which Dr Turner recommended a hospital for me to go to. He arranged for me to be discharged and I truely thank him for this as he saved my life and saved my marriage. He is a fantastic gyno/OB and I would recommend him to anyone.
