Tweed Banora Medical Centre

I moved to the Tweed in 2011 and worked locally and in Brisbane for the first year I was living here. I then joined the mining boom and got work as a FIFO fitter for the next few years. With this lifestyle, I had to be fit and healthy physically and mentally, which meant many visits to doctors back home and onsite. I saw different doctors and nurses in Kingscliff,Pottsville, Banora Point and Brunswick heads other than physios and doctors and chiropractors on worksites. My work also took me to Sydney where I visited local doctors where I used to live to make sure I was in peak health. I settled with going to the Tweed Banora medical centre, because it was a convenient distance from home and my normal doctor, dr. Follent was really caring and understanding and I still see him now. whilst waiting a long time its now not a walk in centre , i had a dr Singh who was absolutey wonderful to me . after contrating a UTI infection,,
i was rushed to hospital and put on the wrong antibitoics at so called tweed hospital
but when i got out of hospital DR Singh had been trying to contact me to let me know that my antibitoics needed to be the strongest ones . he was lovely ,he is not my regular dr, and i would see him again anytime. if needed.
if it wasnt for him i would have had another kidney infection but he put me on the right antibitoics,thnakyou DR Singh

I go here for one dr. I would love people to understand... this is a drs who does not have appointments. If you dont want to wait, dont be cheap... book somewhere that has appts. DO NOT turn up at stupid hours (ie when doors open, 3pm) unless you want to wait.

Bad. Bad. Bad. Apparently has new owners.

The close at 6pm, but stop taking patients at 4:30pm... I just needed to refill my script, literally a 2min appointment but when I told the receptionist that's all I need her response was "Yeh, well so does everyone. Come back tomorrow." Even the chemist staff attached to the centre are disgusted by how rude they are.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Hopeless. Stupidly long waiting times. Been 4-5 times and definitely will not becoming back
