I am involved in all aspects of the building process in project management for both residential and commercial buildings. Residential properties built to a minimum seven star energy efficiency rating.
I estimate the quantity of materials and labour to complete the building work. I purchase and plan for delivery of all materials, plant and equipment, and organise recruitment of labour. On site, I have daily responsibility for supervision and organisation of all trades. Also, I assist in setting out building layouts and check the quality of the construction, ensuring that the building is to the architect's and engineer's specification.
Throughout the building process, I liaise with the local council and planning officers as they approve and inspect the work, which has to conform to the requirements of the relevant building legislation. I carry out Health and Safety inspections, risk assessments and arrange staff safety inductions. I prepare valuations of work carried out to date to enable interim payments, and prepare the final account for presentation to the client. The client is regularly updated on progression, thus ensuring delivery to schedule and budget.

Construction Industry Basic Induction Training Melbourne ID Number 1028563 (Red Card)
Completed a NVQ level 4 Assessment (National Vocational Qualification in the UK) for construction and business Management. The NVQ Level 4 Covers:
