Well, The Aviary and the Vic were both packed to the brim so I decided to continue down Victoria Road when I came across this place. I've known about it for a while, but for some reason I never seem to make it past the Vic. Well, the first thing I must say is that they have a pretty good happy hour. You can get a schooner of craft beer for $5.00, which certainly beats what you can get elsewhere around here. The staff are also really friendly. There's this cool beer garden out the back called 'The Nook' however when I went there you couldn't take alcohol out there. They are also setting up a rooftop bar, though it appears that this has been going on for the last year. Still, it's a pretty nice place, and I'm going to make the effort to walk past The Vic a little more often.
Strongly recommended for Monday Nights (Free Chips and Jug of Beer or Cider) and also every single night :)
Very friendly staff and also reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the Nook in the Back garden area. Looking forward to the Acoustic Food/Drink deals on Wed night
