Ultimate Hair Crew

Sadly I have learnt the hard way that the good reviews here are not a current reflection of this place. My gut instinct told me to walk after witnessing the terrible excuse for a cut and upstyle on the patron before me and I'm kicking myself for ignoring it. $40 for a cut is reasonable these days but not for a bad job which is what I received. Ushered in and out of the chair within 20 mins (including wash + very long hair) and not even a quick dry off. Instead I was waved out of the salon with a '"come visit again soon'" with sopping wet hair - definitely not! They do use good products (Kerastase) but in terms of cutting skills they are well below average, quite out-dated (think '90s layers a la Jennifer Aniston's 'Rachel' cut) and very impersonal. I trusted the staff who assured me staff knew the craft however did not even enquire about how my hair parted so I've now got a whole chunk of uneven layers to one side of my head. I've been going here for awhile now and I love it. The service is so friendly and prompt and they definitely do not keep you waiting. The girls are highly experienced and excellent communicators so they can ensure the best cut for you. There's this nice suburban feel to the place so clients feel comfortable. They also use very high quality products such as Kerastase, American Hair Crew, Muk etc... and the prices are very reasonable! I would recommend Alana for style cuts as I think she just 'gets' people and the style they're after. I've had sooo many compliments from people since I've had my cuts with her. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely hairdresser, hidden away in the shopping centre.



Good service, friendly staff - very wholesome people, don't act too snooty like other places I've been to that charge through the roof.



At a fraction of the cost, I will definitely be coming back here again.
