I was amazed at the size of this Uniqlo as I had been to the Chadstone store but this one is really sprawling. If you haven't already discovered Uniqlo, do go in and check it out. They have pure cashmere knitwear and amazing puffer jackets that are so incredibly lightweight and yet warm. I would love to see Uniqlo offer slightly more generous sizing however as some items are quite tight, especially knitwear. Their website also offers some great deals.
What's there not to love about Uniqlo? It's a quality Japanese chain store which prides itself on customer service and quality and it does it really well! This is the first store in Melbourne and depending on what you are after there is something for everyone. My only constructive feedback is that you have to travel across a 3 levels to explore it all but that's not unusual with Uniqlo stores across the world. It is located in the Emporium shopping complex and well worth a visit if you need a timeless piece as part of your wardrobe makeover.
Another global brand entrance into Australia, this time round based in the heart of Melbourne. I recall coming across this major shop when I was last traveling in Japan, they have a large selection of boys, girls, children wear. Great color, designs and style that could simply suit many different people. They have opened their first store here in Melbourne Central. I came in here a few months ago to pick up the puffy looking jacket that weighs literally nothing and keeps you so warm without the need to wear so much underneath. I absolutely love the jacket, the quality is so good and its one of those piece of clothing that you can see wearing again and again without going out of style. Listed as one of my top stores and will be returning quite often to see what else they have in stock.
Budget friendly basics. A huge store in Melbourne Emporium. Clothing ranges from the essentials, casuals and work. Friendly customer service, knowledgable. There is a clothing recycling bin by the exit which welcomes old Uniqlo clothes in good condition to be donated to whoever is Uniqlo's partner in the particular year.
