Up n Go sales staff are pushy and evasive, you are not fully informed when you initially purchase travel vouchers. The sales person convinced my husband what a good deal they were offering and promised accommodation options of varying levels of price and quality (which you must use to redeem your voucher). When we were ready to book our holiday and redeem the vouchers, it turns out that our options were very limited and were only 4 or 4 1/2 star...much too expensive for us. The bottom line is you can book your own flights and accommodation for MUCH less. If price and value is your highest priority, then stay clear!
I highly recommend using Up n Go travel as I have had a cheap and seamless experience with my holiday stay at Cairns and Port Douglas. With the cheap flights and the excellent spacious apartment room I booked in, it saved me hundreds of dollars than doing it via a normal travel agent.
I have had stress free flight and accommodation booking so that I didn't have to waste time doing it myself; just a matter of letting the staff know when I wanted to leave from Melb and to return and where.
A real pleasure in working/talking to their customer service staff with their prompt answer to any queries I had and the full explanations of how they work.
I have no hesitation in recommending this travel agent to anyone and would suggest so that they get a good cheapest holiday experience.
After numerous attempts at contacting them via email and social media page have not had a response, and have actually had my queries/attempts at contact on their social media page deleted - and have now been blocked so cannot even post on the page or comment.
when apart of a group booking being organised by a friend. We stipulated our needs VERY clearly and was sold something that was NOT suitable for our needs. Have requested a refund, and been denied due to exceeding the 10day cooling off period - yet the reason this was exceeded was because they were understaffed and did not respond in time. After buying some holiday vouchers over the phone from up and go I felt pleased that I had a good deal with cheap flights. The sales consultant advised i needed to give 60 days notice for a holiday booking. After 10 days I decided to request a booking 90 days before my travel date. I went onto the website to fill in the booking request form, after several attempts over about 1 hour, getting kicked back to the beginning of the form everytime, i decided to go to a pdf form that was emailed to me. After filling this out and getting ready to email it, it would not let me save it with out deleting the information.
