My name is Eitan, a Registered Social Worker, Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate degree in Psychology from Charles Sturt University. I have over 24 years? experience derived from a variety of workplace settings including community mental health, hospitals and private practice.
I work with individuals, couples and families. My broad range of experience enables me to work with an array of presentations, but I specialise in working with clients who battle with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, mood disorders and the impact of trauma, as well as clients facing marital or parental problems. I am also able to support clients with brief therapeutic interventions for family and couples counselling, and for grief and loss.
I draw upon diverse and eclectic theoretical perspectives when counselling my clients. These include contemporary psychodynamic therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), systemic approaches and other advanced therapeutic techniques and interventions. This breadth of capacity offers me optimal flexibility to meet the presenting needs of each client, accounting for their unique personal, ethical, familial and cultural circumstances.
I am passionate about my work, and enthusiastically supporting my clients along their journey to articulate their desired change, recover from their emotional pains and bring their desired changes to fruition.

In addition to my private practice, I am also a Senior Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor with NSW Health Mental Health.

My availability: I am available to see clients at my private practice at East Killara on weekdays afterhours and on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, home visit sessions may be offered, depending on GP?s recommendation particular circumstance.
