Upwey South Primary School

This is a lovely school set in beautiful surrounds. My child has been here for 5 years and has developed well both socially and academically. She loves the specialist subjects especially Performing Arts. She can't wait to be involved in the production this year. The staff are friendly and supportive and you can tell they love teaching. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Primary school in the area.

Upwey South Primary School is a wonderful school. Every time I drop into the school the students all look so happy to be there and get along with each other really well. The children have made some great friendships through the school and so have I. This year when I helping out I had the chance to visit all the classrooms and I think the teaching staff are just terrific. Every classroom is so colourful and welcoming and I would be happy for my children to be in the class of any teacher at the school. The staff not only teach the children really well, they also care about them. The specialist teachers are also fantastic. My school friends all agree that USPS is a great school. The whole-school special events this year have been just fabulous and the students, staff and families all worked together to help make these events a huge success. Our expectations were not met. Low teaching standards appear to have resulted in our child (among others) ending up not meeting even basic standards for their age. Limited resources available to assist students in basic literacy.

They have nice natural grounds for children to play and friendly staff. Its a nice atmosphere.
