Urban Hair

The most unfriendly, un-skilled salon I have ever been in.
I went in for a hair colour which was patchy and brighter than the swatch.
When I went in for a correction, I was treated so rudely, as if I was asking for something for free. The correction was patchy leaving me darker than the swatch and I was left with wet hair as the stylist said I would be charged for a blow dry if I wanted my hair air dried.
I was so distressed by this experience.
I will certainly not be returning.

I went in for a drastic colour change and was greeted by an incredible, friendly and funny environment. The staff really new their stuff, and gave me a wonderful experience. As a student, I was apprehensive in spending $300, but after 3+ hours spent on me without any slacking, I was more than happy to hand it over. So grateful, an indulgence I won't regret. Maria is a genius.

Very disappointing. I understand sometimes things go wrong with colours but it's how a business handles it that matters. I had a bad colour experience yesterday. I accept things go wrong but when I left I had to pay for the experience, I was disappointed the management made no apology or price reduction or any compensation. Clearly my ongoing business does not matter. The sad thing is I have now told all my work colleagues and I have given a bad review. Word of mouth in Canberra matters.

WOW WOW WOW!!! I feel very happy with the result! Maria and Flic... Daaaaamn ladies you know your hair and colour! I came in with previous failed attempts from two salons that I kept giving chances to. These fab ladies got rid of the or angelfish tinge, tiggerr stripes, cut my hair GOOD (made it even) and my hair is still healthy! I feel very happy! The ladies did listen to me! That's so important :) I will be returning in a few weeks to get lighter bits (WIP) The colour they use is better than other salons (trust me I've been to lots!!) and made my hair shine and is more healthy! Found my salon been searching for months with heart ache and lots of money wasted from more expensive salons! XO Elence
