Staff were uninformed, chose not to be informed, couldn’t be bothered following up on anything once they had my money, lied repeatedly about delivery and were not in the least interested in the customer experience. I should have known when I first went in and they were sniggering about another customer’s indecisiveness! Never again!

I have been looking for iron pendant candelabra and Urban Lighting had not only the style I liked, but also seriously more budget friendly than all the other options that came up. I am in Melbourne and called Sydney. The sales staff were too busy to take my call. I was surprised when my call was returned in only 15 minutes. Geoff advised the light fitting did not come with globes, told me about the right globes to buy and took the time to explain the physical appearance of the metal because it's hard to tell from the online photos. Geoff was very friendly and I enjoyed his conversation - he made me feel comfortable about dealing with an anonymous interstate company. I bought two candelabra and was given a discount that was almost the equivalent of the shipping cost. Shipping was estimated at 5-10 days - but my boxes arrived only 4-days later - on a Sunday. A good experience.

I have been in this store a number of times over the last 3 years. In particular the last 12 months while doing an extensive reno. I have been in the store approx 5 times and purchased from there once. Each time the service has been so poor it is hard to see how they stay in business. Unhelpful, rude and dismissive at best. Questions are treated as disturbances while they are working behind their desk (not dealing with customers). I kept going back in the hope it was a one off - but sadly this is not the case.
