Urban Spa

I resent giving this place even 1 star, but unfortunately there is no option to give zero stars.
Similar to at least 6 previous reviews have read about Urban Spa, my 2 hour treatment was cut sh0rt by over 45 minutes. The therapist started 10 minutes late (despite the fact that I was there early), left the room for 20 minutes while I lay there wating, missed out on two of the treatments that were meant to be included in the package, and then I was out in Reception 15 minutes before my appointment was meant to finish (and that was if they had started on time). The same thing happened to my partner who had booked in for the same treatment. Staff were unwilling to give a reason as to why the treatments were cut significantly short. I used to go to this quiet regularly , often enjoying their $99 specials. However the last time I went in Feb I had been given a $250 spa voucher . My 2:5 hr treatment was short by 20 mins and one of the treatments was completely missed out. I raised this and was told that she had substituted the treatment I requested with a foot massage instead. In fact the foot massage was part of the facial. Anyway because of that and the relentless "sales" push on products I feel very uncomfortable about retuning . I come for a treat not to spend 5 mins being asked if I want to buy products. It takes a shine of the whole experience . I have been to many spas and I would say Urban Spa employ newly qualified therapists as their techniques are not the best I have ever experienced, however they seem to be very friendly. They need to be aware of the treatment time and not to be too pushy on selling additional products .

I am a medical specialist in a speciality with very few of us so my waiting list is over 3 months to see a patient. I took a day off on a Friday weeks in advance to use a birthday voucher for treatments of I was told 2 to 2.5 hours. I was booked at 12 I confirmed the day before and st 10am was messaged to say the therapist was off sick and I was cancelled to ring then to reschedule. I understand sickness cannot be avoided but this was a very disappointing experience for me with Urvan Spa. I list a day off work I wonder what would happen if I had to cancel patients die to sickness?

If they had 6 Stars I would have awards them! Yet again a wonderful experience from start to finish. The girls are always so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. But I even more importantly, they are highly skilled and the experience is always consistent no matter which therapist treats you. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back :)

I had the most wonderful experience at Urban Spa Avalon. All the ladies are so friendly and inviting. I have been to many spas over the years and my treatment at Urban Spa has to be the best one I have ever received. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you ladies....
