We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen. We chose UZIT for several reasons… Well priced, they’re an SA business, and the moment we walked in their door it just felt right. UZIT have been amazing to deal with. They really helped open our eyes to the possibility of what our space and kitchen could become.
Our designer Jessie was amazing right throughout the process, nothing was too much trouble and always more than happy to help in altering the designs, as we did a couple of times. Jessie really helped us see the space in a different way and offered up so many options. The installer was amazing also with very minimal disruption throughout the whole process.
Our expectations were truly exceeded and we are so thankful we chose UZIT! Thanks so much guys!!
Uzit installed our new kitchen earlier this year, and we are thrilled with the final result. Although there were times when communication wasn’t as good as we would like (either between them and us, or between different people within the company), it felt like everyone we dealt with within the company (Len, David, Shaun, Andrew) took pride in what they do, and want to do a good job. We had to do more project management than I expected, but part of that is probably because we wanted some non-standard things (like a down-draft rangehood/induction stove) and had spent a lot of time coming up with some specific unusual configurations, which were outside their normal practices. Not everything went as we expected, but they did end up rectifying it to our satisfaction. So, in short, although they are human, and there are were some faults and failings, I feel it’s a company with integrity who do want you get a kitchen you’re happy with.
Buyer beware and get everything in writing if you still choose to use them. We had a $25000 kitchen excluding appliances, electrical and plumbing and accepted the quote which stated stone benchtops and splashbacks. We also had colour 3d renderings. What do you know I get a text from the "designer" Greg after the stone check measure accusing us of adding stone as he had not quoted it on all the splashbacks. Only after threatening legal action and highlighting the quote didn't exclude any sections and stone was shown in the rendered image that we based our acceptance on did they back down and supply it. This ccausd us further delays without a kitchen. There were also many other issues and poor communication.
