I am on holiday from Tasmania and driving a 1975 kombi, I rang and asked if they could fit me in as I was only in the area for two days. Luke put me on hold and after a while said they were booked out for over a week however given that I was travelling and not in the area long that they woukd fit me in. They changed my oil, checked tappets, check gear box oil and tightened up a loose oil pipe.
Very happy with service, they even had in stock a wind mirror which I lost on the trip over to wa
Well done LUKE
A big thankyou and thumbs up for Kurt and the team. We were contemplating needing to sell our '74 beetle which we've owned for 23 years as we'd received a repairs estimate of a couple of grand from another mechanic. Yesterday we took it to V-Dub Repairs and Spares for a second opinion. By this morning Kurt had her purring again for little over $300! Kurt also takes care of servicing and repairs for our Golf GTi Mk VI (he has factory diagnostic equipment) and even our Fiat Punto!
I've been to V-dub a few times to service my car, they do an excellent job. They usually have any spare parts you need for your car that would otherwise take weeks to get on the Internet. They may charge more than non-specialists but you can guarantee the job will be done properly!
Got a general car service. Friendly staff, did the job well. Only suggested a couple of extra spare parts on top of normal service which only amounted to $80 and were necessary especially as I hadn't got car serviced in nearly 2 years. Very reasonable cost overall and car driving really well afterwards. Will use in the future.
I have used this service on several occasions and have been extremely happy, prompt responses to queries and very knowledgeable staff. I run a classic porsche and the team has gone the extra mile to research and ensure that parts are supplied t a fair price.
I highly recommend this business.
