Valentino's Cafe Lutwyche City

Love this place. They've moved next door to Chalk Street - now street side eating! Great for weekend brunch. Staff are friendly and dogs are welcome :)

I have been to this cafe more than once and each time the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is great as well as the coffee (athough a bit stronger). Always a pleasure coming here!!

I have given this cafe a try more than once, and everytime i am dissapointed, staff were rude and took over 10 mintes to serve me, the coffee was terrible and the cup was half empty. I now always go across the way to Michelles who always have great coffee and the staff are prompt and friendly.

Take away coffee from here was good, but the cups werent full which was disappointing. Price wise it was about average. The service was good. All you can really expect from this sort of set up in a food court.

I took the liberty of asking the family at Valentino's a few questions about their choices in relation to running their business while I waited (they are actually very friendly folks!) and the owner explained that it is difficult to run a small business.

So I think the best thing you can do is to go and try it for yourself! I had an iced chocolate and cannoli (because I'm a barista too and instead of turning my nose up at every other cup of coffee I'll ever receive like all us baristas seem to do, I just avoid it altogether) and was pleasantly surprised to see that they use chocolate powder instead of syrup - and trust me it makes a difference (because when you think about it, the syrup ones would just be a milkshake without the shake, right?)!
