DO NOT use this mechanic.

After returning here to re-do a road worthy I was charged an extra $100 for something that reeked of money grabbing. The car had hardly been driven since the last inspection. The initial road worthy was done in March at the same place at a cost of $450 which at the time seemed exorbitant as I had only recently had a log book service done. I wish now I had have questioned it further.

Both times I was NOT contacted to be advised of the extra work required - I found out by going back into the shop to pick up my vehicle which prolonged the time taken and was extremely inconvenient.

This whole experience has been extremely costly and has left a bad taste in my mouth. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, I suggest you don't set foot in this place.

Ditto on the "diagnostic assessment fee". charged $125 just to quote on a job & the quote was double what I got quoted elsewhere. Would not give me my keys back until I paid the fees. I felt bullied at this business - don't let it happen to you

do not take your car here! Double cost of elswhere and quote on repairs that dont need doing.

Needed a RWC, a couple of things needed fixing. Quoted on one of the items but not the other. Never got back to me with a price for the second item but went ahead and did the repair. Huge bill. Will not use again and would not recommend.

Needed a safety certificate to re-register my car and was failed! Quoted $900 to fix everything to be passed as "SAFE". The management then proceeded to argue with me when I told them I'd be taking my car somewhere else. Took my car to another mechanic and was PASSED first time!
