monash council put in a brilliant new playground after consultation with local community in September 2015. here. it has two very long flying foxes, robust enough for adults to enjoy, giant basket/birds nest swing, several sandpits, dry river beds, the main wooden obstacle course incorporates lots of non risk adverse heights without barriers for older kids and ladders and balance beams made with natural branches rather than all manufactured materials. has sculptures of native birds both wooden and giant metal one to climb on, situated in natural bush surroundings. finally monash council are providing some great natural parks in its municipality
