Valonz Haircutters

I have been a client of valonz for 10 years now, and most of the time I had been quite happy with the results, there are some incredibly talented colourists/stylists. Although in the last few years I have felt the overall service to be quite disappointing, and in general the vibe is a little intimidating and uncomfortable (Loud music, rotating of many different people working on your hair, lack of engagement or connection). My feedback would be that the colourist/stylist communicates exactly what they will be doing, so you are both on the same page, and a few times i ended up with something i did not want. Also helpful if they could quote you ahead of time so you do not have any surprises at the end.

This place does not even deserve one star. I had been a client since 2013 and have watched the place become a total disaster. The reception staff and hair "stylists" are rude, extremely unprofessional and snobby. In particular, Elle - I had booked her in for a toner (on top my previous highlights) to create a medium brown and she turned my hair all black. Although disappointed, I was not rude about it and did not really make a fuss as I knew I would be going somewhere else next time. She was extremely rude throughout the consult telling me to hurry up and decide what I want (it had been 5 minutes) because she had many other clients yet none showed up throughout the appointment so clearly this was a lie. At the end, she told me to not see her for a colour anymore and to find someone else. I'm sorry but half your job of being a hairdresser is to provide good service...who are you to be so arrogant? I am devastated. Worst experience of my life. DONT EVER GO TO RENYA XYDIS, VALONZ - whatever. Just stay away. Not even close to the colour I asked for and then to add insult to injury, I had to deal with the vile Salon manager who told me it was my fault the stylist is colour blind and ignorant. Cannot express enough how rubbish they are. Further to that, they continually add extras to your cost.

The worst - run away -even if it is poring raining outside - you are much safer aut than in the salon......

Great haircut and colour. very expensive (over $300) but I was very happy with the actual hairdo and was prepared to pay. My gripe is that the service was shocking. Very rude. They actually go out of their way to be snobby and insulting. verbally rude, not just the vibe. I guess they think it adds to their ego and street cred as a top salon?? too much attitude really. guess i would go again for the actual haircut and colour but cannot believe staff are allowed to behave that way towards customers and each other.
