I got my hair cut just before Christmas when it was at its absolute worst condition its ever been in. The stylist recommended cutting off about 3 inches, which at first I was very unsure about... After having it cut and blow dried my hair felt completely different and amazing! Walking out of the salon and feeling my hair blow in the wind was now a nice experience; unlike getting a mouth full of hair, that felt like straw and knotted seconds after being brushed.
Two or three weeks later I am still amazed by the feeling of my hair and the healthy manner it is in!

I called for an appointment during my week-long stay in Ballarat recently, for a colour application and cut, I was greeted by confusion and incoherent ramblings. I arrived at my appointment to what I had in part the impression to be a busy and seamless hive of activity, instead, I was greeted by an empty salon and a vaguely dismissive reception of inconvenience. My hair turned out somewhat average, absolutely did not warrant those heinous metropolitan prices, with an appalling attitude from one of the staffs to boot. The salon presents as shallow and pretentious, laced with flaccid efforts of exclusivity, generally trying to be something its not - vibrant and just a bit fabulous, but really, its just various shades of beige.

I love Michelle and the lovely team at Vanilah! They are always happy and helpful and willing to go that extra mile to make me look and feel special.

Finally there's a salon that has a team of talented hairstylists! I am one of those difficult customers that never knows what they want, but these girls always seem to work with me on that and always achieve a result that's always exactly what I was after or more! I find that to be such an important attribute when getting something as important as your hair done. Highly recommend these girls, great for a chat too :)
