Vapiano is the definition of a new fresh casual approach to dining where people can get good quality food quickly without having to pay the earth.Vapiano creates good old-fashioned Italian recipes using only the best local meat, produce and cheese. Whenever possible, Vapiano sources produce from within 150 kilometres, including growing their own herbs and making their own pasta and pizza fresh every day. Vapianos aim is to get food from farm to fork as quickly as possible.
Vapianos range of cheeses, include buffalo mozzarella which is hand made from pure buffalo milk, is from Vannella Cheese from Milla Milla in Far North Queensland; olive oils are pressed from frantoio olives grown in the South Burnett region north west of Brisbane; eggs are from a farm on the Darling Downs just west of Brisbane; and the fresh fruit, vegetables and extra herbs come from Bowen, Bundaberg, Gatton and Logan.
Vapiano also offers gluten free gnocchi and sauces.

This place was okay, a little different though. Basically you are given a card which records your purchases, and there are stalls that offer different types of dishes – one for pasta, one for pizza, and one for drinks. It was okay, but it is actually starting to feel a bit like a fast-food restaurant. I can’t really say that it was all that great, and the service is okay, though it is mainly self serve,
Interesting ordering process and fresh foods. I really like the potato pizza with cream sauce. If busy, wait times can be long. It's nice that everything is prepared to order and you even get to watch them do the pasta for you. Always busy in here especially around lunch time and after work.
Had a pizza lunch today. The decor is OK. Not keen on the ordering process, the use of pagers to pick up your food but some people may like it. What disappointed me was paying $19 for a pretty basic pizza with burnt edges. I would have sent it back but was in a hurry. Dominos do a better pizza.
I was introduced to this restaurant through the disastrous Olympics promotion, and I have to say the staff handled massive amounts of customers really well. I was impressed by the manager, who dealt with a ton of different tasks efficiently. I can never help but get the pizzas, my favorite being the pesto con spinaci. There are tons of seats, and the atmosphere is really relaxed. I also like the basil plants at every
