Stopped using Vaya a couple of months ago and the process of getting my deposit back was so frustrating and un-customer-like and downright annoying that I'll never go back. In the 5 times I rang them (including once when I was about to be billed for a non-existent service) I waited a total of 4 hours on hold - lucky my new provider's plan included unlimited calls - and despite being promised by phone & email that things were being sorted out it was only when I threatened ombudsman that I got my deposit back.
Very poor.
Terrible service, have only just signed up and already thinking about leaving them. Their call centre never seems to pick up the phone, and when they do they can be hard to hear. The main problem is I have waited an age for my account to be activated, last night they said this will happen in a little while...well, Im still waiting!. The deal was 1 month free but was on the 31st of the month so only really got 1 day free!
I've been with Vaya for about 8 months now and have been very happy with their reselling of Optus. Price = Great, I've yet to even go close to going over my limit. My one hesitation though is that the one time I had to ring them for something there was an awfully long waiting time and the operator wasn't all that understandable/helpful/knowledgable - and the same thing happened when I contacted them via their 'live chat' on their website. Buyer Beware...
