had the pleasure of an appointment at Velvet, the staff were lovely and really took the time to understand what i wanted..... i could not have walked out happier and the price was reasonable compared the other salons in the area which charged rediculous prices.

I've just my hair cut in the friendliest salon I have ever been in. Love the consideration and the professionalism. Love the cut and the colour treatment. It gets me comments socially. Must be a good sign!

I recently went here to get my colour and cut done, what a disaster. i wanted blonde foils, and they came out orange. when i told her i wasnt happy with my colour and that it was obviously orange. she was trying to convince me that it was blonde. thats what annoys me more than anything, instead of trying to fix it. i was told i didnt know how to look at colour properly. its a shame because the staff was lovely and we did get along in the beginning, but i definitely wont be coming back to this salon. i had to go elsewhere to fix it, and the new hairdresser said it was orange, all she could do was put a colour all over to fix it. but the staff said it would fade and go back to orange eventually. i dont know what to do now, not happy!!
