Veriu Green Square

I recently stayed at Veriu Green Square from Jan 3-6 earlier this month. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one! I say this because I had booked to stay through Jan 14, but due to a personal emergency, I had to leave early. When I infomed the desk clerk of my change of plans on the morning of 1/6, I was first told that the company I booked with did not allow for refunds. I contacted with that firm and was informed they have no such policy. I then talked to another desk clerk that same early morning, as the first had left, and was then told there was a 72 hour cancelation policy, so I would be charged for three additional days. I was also told that an exception could be made by the Manager, who would be in on Monday, 1/8. That clerk said that they would put in a request for me. After I returned home this week, 1/22, and never hearing back from the hotel, I contacted the them through the booking company and was told by the hotel no such request was ever made ...read more
