When my mum was moving to qld from mid NSW we decided to use a local removalists to support local business. What a huge mistake..... we explained the contents in detail and he quoted. Vic was nice until he could not fit everything on the truck, I called Vic to ask for his help, could we organise something else or other way to get the rest of the load to qld asap. After begging for his help and being told I had no idea and being yelled at he hung up and refused to answer any more calls!! He had contracted this job out and the contractors were very nice men with lots of experience and care, they delivered what they fitted on the truck in a timely professional manner with no damage but as for my dealings with Vic Palmer I would not bother ever again!! We ended up having to drive 7 hours back with a trailer to collect the rest of what did not fit on.
Katrina, I think a 5 star review would have been more appropriate considering the amazing service we provided for your mother. Firstly, let’s get the facts straight. We gave your mum a quote based on a list of goods that she provided to us, when we arrived at your mums house to pickup she had more than double the amount of goods then what was on her list, because she had forgotten to tell us about the goods in her shed. Your mum apologised to us for forgetting to tell us about the extra items. Luckily for her we had an almost empty semi-trailer available for her. We did not charge your mum anymore for her move. Any other removalist in this country would have charged your mum double after learning about all the extra goods. You are so ungrateful !
My family just moving again with Vic Palmer Removals and the boys were wonderful once again. Nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly and very good at their job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to move or store their stuff.
