Worst service in Sydney, not just from the waitering staff, but from an arrogant manager. I eat out A LOT, and am very forgiving to the staff as I own a business myself, and understand the pressure. But when you're arrogant after making a terrible mistake, that's the pits of customer service. Its taken me a while to write this review, as I've been tossing up whether is should. But I owe it to those who's reviews I rely on for myself.
It's unfortunate as the location is great. If you're after a night out with a special person, this definetely isn't the place to go if you respect yourself.
I have unfortunately had the worst experiences here, even though I've been several times. The staff left us sitting there for THREE HOURS for breakfast, after not taking the orders, getting them wrong, and not even bringing out water or cutlery. Let alone glasses for the water. It was a terrible experience, and I felt bad that I'd brought my guests there. They weren't even busy, but the staff were dismissive and rude, and seemed to have no care for our bad experience. It's such a shame as the space is great and it's an impressive restaurant from the road. Don't be fooled though - all of the bad reviews are sadly true. I hope they get their act together, or replace the staff with people who are happy to be in customer service. #reviewtowin
We had lunch in the bar area rather than the dining room. Menu was more limited than I expected. I had the pulled beef burger and my husband had the chicken roll. Both were around the $20 and came with chips. Good portion size and tasty. I had an imported pear cider which was particularly tasty and refreshing!
Don't bother, instead of spending all the money in a great fit out, get the uppity staff who seem to think they are doing you a favour by serving you and letting you wait ages for food. don't tell me you are wanting me to have a good dining experience so I have to finish by 8 but I can have the privelidge of going to the bar. Fact; you want two sittings. Goog food when you got it, cocktail maker needs to learn their trade. A lot of better places with better service now in the area. won't be back.
