Booked the day before at 4pm saying that i may not stay the night but wanting to know if there were rooms available. My response was 'Sure, could i have you contact number to call you and your credit card number so WHEN you come it'll be quicker for you to check in"
I didn't check in and was charged anyway. I called and inquired about the UNAUTHORISED transaction i was told that i needed to cancel the day before at 3pm. I was never told this, never booked a room and called at 4pm. After explaining this I received a rude response of "Bad luck". Very poor to say the least
My partner and I recently stayed here as we were attending a wedding and the service was better than great! We explained that we were going to a wedding, and could we check out late - Not a problem AND there was no extra charge!
We also needed maps for areas that were not on the area map they had, so they went as far as tearing the maps from the front of the yellow pages to help us out! Saved us $40 to buy a Melways and was most appreciated!
We we met with a sparkling clean room, and breakfast was delicious! If we come back to Canberra, we are DEFINITELY going to be going back to Victor Lodge!
