Victoria Nails & Spa

I visited this salon 2 weeks ago to have the deluxe spa pedicure. During the pedicure, the lady asked me if I want the dead skin scraped off as well (extra $5). I have been to this store many times and do not normally opt for this extra service as I feel it should be included in the $35.00 fee. This time however, I said yes. The lady pulled out the scraping blade device and started scraping away at the sole of my foot. I then felt a pinch in my foot where she was scraping and flinched. The lady then put my foot back in the water and kept going with the other foot. Throughout the pedicure I could feel a stinging sensation at the base of my foot and I knew that the lady had cut it. When the pedicure was over I stood up and blood was dripping from the cut, which went completely 'unnoticed' by the lady. I then paid the full amount for the pedicure ($40) and asked for a band aid. Great! I have tried this nail salon a few times to try out getting Shellac on nails and consistently received excellent service. I did get a different girl each time, and English may not have been their first language, but they did an awesome job each time. I then was more comfortable enough to try the acrylic nails and I was not disappointed, being a chronic nail biter, my nails have seen better days, but the girls looked at my nails, suggested various options and went back to work and I could not be happier with the result. I did go back a few days later to see if they could scale back my very long nails which I loved, but had trouble typing, and the girls quite happily adjusted the length of my nails, cheerily and without charging me any extra for the service which pleasantly surprised me.
