Victoria Park Public Library

This community library is user-friendly and well organised. Recently the library has updated it's borrowing conditions to allow borrowing of up to 12 items of any kind at one time, where previously item restrictions occurred including allowing only one DVD to be borrowed at a time. This is a really handy change from my point of view, although the library warns that this means that less items will be available for borrowing on the shelves due to more item numbers being borrowed out at a time. A regular newsletter highlights monthly upcoming events and is available to take at the borrowing counter and a community post is a great way to check out jobs or courses around Vic Park. There are about 20 Internet connected PCs available for use and the system of having some on 15 minute slots and some on 60 minute slots works well.
