Basic Brush cutter repair, got it back and ran for 2 minutes. On return they said it needed new carby because when they cleaned old one it had many small galleries which could not be cleaned. Also it needed a coil, all up would be another $240 and hence not worth fixing. Took it home and found carby had never been off or cleaned?? Problem was blocked muffler.They have no idea, never going back.
You should let them know buddy. Have lived in the Redlands for over 15 years and it's the only place I'll take my gear to be looked at, same goes for all me neighbours in our street. Tried all the other stores in the past and trust me, these guys are the good guys. The new owner there seems like an honest bloke, on the ball and experienced , I'm sure he would appreciate your feed back. Got to ask the question though, why did you take it to them in the first place if the fault you found was so obvious ???
