Very disappointed. 8 x 5 heavy duty. Lots of wink, wink, nudge by employees when I went to pick up. I ordered months in advance. Trailer not ready. Came out filthy. Wheels looked second hand and wheel nuts looked like they were hammered on. Paint was still wet. Had it just over a month now and haven't used it yet. Rust everywhere. Jockey wheel broke. Not happy.
I bought an 8x5 trailer
110% DISSAPOINTED
WHOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY
MY TRAILER STARTED TO RUST AFTER 1 WEEK FROM PURCHASE DATE
BOTH WHEELS & SPARE HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE TYRES WERE OUT OF SHAPE AND CAUSED THE TRAILER TO VIBRATE AT 80km/ph
Jockey wheel was also out of shape and made moving the trailer around in the driveway difficult ...read more
poor quality! end product looked nothing like what i ordered or what is on their website .firstly, my garden trailer came with missing stock components such as jerry can holders, top rail around whole box, spare wheel in different position and no tailgate. second, welds were average with signs of scrap metal being used, tech screws helping to hold the whole side tool box on. spring lock holes being unevenly blown out with oxy torch leaving spatter all over it, which they then proceded to paint over (looks ugly). components had obviously been welded and cut back off without cleaning it up leaving sharp edge. chipped paint with large areas of paint run all over the place covering dints and lastly, the back door was hinge bound.
not to mention surface rust all over it.
i feel completly ripped off with vic trailers and will be sharing this story with anyone in the market for a "new" trailer.
First problem - tyres supplied didn't pass road worthy, refund for the cost of new tyres was received after too many emails and phone calls.
Second problem - The drop down tail gate hinges have seized, the hinges are welded to the frame in opposing directions so an angle grinder is required in order to grease the hinge. Very poor design! A grease nipple might have avoided this problem.
