Vietnam Sunrise

The food was good....when it finally came. We arrived for a "quick lunch" which turned into a 4 hours of dining. Other tables came, got served and left ahead of us. The staff seemed flustered and annoyed when we asked for our drinks. The wait staff spilt one glass worth of jansz when pouring ($40p/bot) and they declined our request to be refunded for one glass! I'm sorry but the experience was horrible, I won't be returning

Had a return visit with the family. I love the small Vietnamese places around Adelaide but if you're a bit unsure about Vietnamese food this is a good place to start as it's comfortable, with a good winelist and a very explained menu. We started off with roll your own cold rolls with pork balls - one serve was enough for the 5 of us for a starter. The cripsy pork was so good we ended up ordering another serve. The salt and pepper squid was tender, the bok choy with garlic was delicious and the duck was tender and juicy. The rice hotpot was great and even had the crunchy layer on the bottom which we all fought over.

A very well furnished restaurant with comfy but modern chairs and big wine glasses. Good wine list with lots of South Australian selections. Large menu with authentic selections. One of the few places I know that does lotus root salad. Great rice hotpot. Good service. Can be busy so it pays to book.
