One of the worst customer experiences. Jacky was pretentious, rude, does not listen to what you as the customer want, and to top it off does not know her product. We bought 6 chairs on the premis that they were made of Oak timber. Jacky had assured us 2 times they were made of Oak. We had been looking at some other chairs that looked exactly the same but made of "Beechwood" at another store, but decided to pay the extra $60 per chair at Villa for the better quality Oak timber. Picked up the chairs and got home. Was taking them ot of the box and writen on the outside of the box was "Material: Beechwood". i rang Jacky up but no response. left a voicemail. She called the following day. I explained the situation. She harped on about the colour and assured me they were good quality. Nice showroom, but it's a case of you pay for what you get . The owner is a bit pushy , she insisted we get her men to deliver the table I purchased even though it fitted in my car and I lived close to the shop. She was really cross with me and so on the day that the table arrived at her store she was barking orders at me , not giving me any help, only telling me to hurry up as she had very little space to store the ( flat packed) table .
I feel a bit mean saying this but I find this to be a small and unfriendly shop! I thought it when I visited with my mum 7 years ago to buy a few lounge suites and I thought so today. They do have some nice stuff but I find it a bit expensive. When I visited today neither of the two attendants even acknowledged me even though I was the only one in the shop. I thought one of there coffee tables was interesting but there was very little I would consider buying.
On the second visit we purchased a large metal clock for $229 and were also interested in a chair. The staff said their products came from the same suppliers as Coco Republic, but sold for a lot less. And whilst they may be more expensive than competitors because they are higher quality.
