I'm a husband and father of two (three if you include our kelpie). I live in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges of Melbourne, Australia.
I've had a life long passion for photography and would love to help tell your story through still images.
In our lives, memory is there to be preserved- memory is who we are.
With photography, I seek to preserve memory for myself...memory for others with still images in the most beautiful and complimentary way.
In seeking a name for my photography business, I wanted something both authentic and true to who I am- It needed to be a strong part of my memory.
The name 'Village Dog Photo' comes from my childhood, growing up in Hong Kong, when dogs from the local village wandered up to where we lived. As a child, the dogs had a dark and brooding air that would send fear through my sisters and I- they were unpredictable and scary. We would would call out, 'The village dogs are coming!' and run scampering into our flat.
The memory of the dogs has stayed with me...but not in a bad way. They've simply become a part of my memory- they make up who I am today.
